I hate downloading there it magically makes my internet speed slower than it should be.

the problem is all these chinese forum download files are compressed and always seem to have some little data corruption when downloaded from Baidu.
on a huge 16GB single archive the corruption during download will be bad.
Unzipping them always throughs enough error that I have to download from Baidu several time.

You should just pay for a baidu premium subscription, It is just 5$ a month, that's what I do every now and then when I find gold minds on the chinese forums (I just found all of her fantia stuff, from feb up to may, every month is around 16GBs) tho I have never experienced a file getting corrupted from them and I have downloaded even 32GBs at a time.

Maybe because I don't use the Baidu app to download.
I do have Baidu SVIP account for the whole year.
